News Updates

Another One for the Books ...

Thanks to everyone who came out to McKenzie's in downtown Nashua on June 14 to hear and support THE ROCKIN' ROAD DOGS. With so many events going on (graduations, the Rock 'n' Rib Fest, etc.) many of you made it a point to swing on by, say "hi" and hang out with us for a spell. We had an absolute blast and our newest member did a great job on blues harmonica and vocals in his first appearance with us, despite having a bad sore throat.

We also want to say "thanks" to Bill at McKenzie's for inviting us to play for his bar. Bill's a great guy, too.

For those who missed us, we will be returning soon (most likely some time in August). Stay tuned for details.Hope to see you soon.

NEW!!! Smokin' Hot "DOGGIE" Tee's

DOGS' lead guitarist, Paul Sylvain, created a smokin' hot design for the band's official T-shirts. The order for the band's members just went in, however if enough freiends, family and fans express an interest in having one of their own, a much larger order will be placed based on pre-paid orders. Let us know what you think.

Dogs Welcome Tom Black

The Rockin' Road Dogs want to welcome our newest member, blues harp player extraordinaire Tom Black, to the band. We had an incredible Saturday jam at the Dog Pound this afternoon and were literally and figuratively blown away by his ability on the harp. Absolutely incredible and amazing, and we are mighty happy to have him with us. Besides harmonica, he plays rhythm guitar and adds a fourth voice to the vocal mix. Join us in making Tom feel at home in the pack.

Dogs Featured in The Telegraph

Click on our "PRESS" tab to read two nice pieces that appeared in the March 17, 2013, (Nashua, N.H.) Telegraph.

One is a feature piece on the band by staff writer Dean Shalhoup and highlights the band's energy, love of music and its decades-long roots. The other is by columnist Joe Konopka and focuses on lead guitarist and singer Paul Sylvain, Although it's mainly about the divergent musical paths Paul and Joe took over the years, it makes several references to the Dogs.
